Currently, we have developed a form of microcrystalline cellulose that will out perform any other brand of MCC. MCC-102-LP is manufactured in India at a state of the art facility exclusively for Invetek, Inc. Invetek Microcrystalline cellulose, MCC-102-LP, has much better functionality for tableting with modern machines. It is intended for high-speed tablet presses but can be used as well at slower speeds. It easily allows 3000 tablets per minute without any capping problems. Due to its unique particle size distribution it has a superior compression profile. The larger particles of MCC-102-LP also help in decreasing segregations during blending of active ingredients and improve flow properties.

Invetek MCC-102-LP allows for higher rates of tablet disintegration yet with greater tablet hardness because of a reduction in void space between the particles. The greater tablet hardness is achieved without any increase in the compaction force required to produce a tablet. As a disintegrant MCC-102-LP breaks apart faster because the particles have much better water absorption and swelling properties.
